Dorothy Hamill Undergoing Treatment For Breast Cancer

BALTIMORE, MD (January 4, 2008) – Ice-skating legend Dorothy Hamill has breast cancer.

A rep for the Olympic skating champ confirmed to Access Hollywood that the ice star is currently undergoing treatment at Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center in Baltimore, Maryland.

Hamill’s prognosis is very favorable, her rep confirmed.

In order to undergo treatment, Hamill must take time away from her schedule headlining the Broadway on Ice national tour.

She hopes to rejoin the tour on its stop in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on January 16.
