Court Revokes Britney's Rights To Her Children
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (January 4, 2008) – A court has revoked Britney’s rights to her children.
In an emergency hearing that concluded Friday afternoon in a Los Angeles courtroom, Commissioner Scott Gordon awarded “sole legal custody and sole physical custody of the minor children,” to Kevin Federline, according to the minute order obtained by Access Hollywood.

Spears has had all visitation rights to the children suspended pending further order of the court.
Another hearing on the matter has been set for January 14 at 8:30 a.m. in Los Angeles.
Federline’s attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, made a visit to family court earlier today, following Britney’s admission to Cedars Sinai Medical Center on Thursday night.
On Thursday, Spears allegedly locked herself in a room with Jayden James, as a court appointed monitor placed her eldest son, Sean Preston, in a car.
When the monitor returned, Spears reportedly refused to relinquish custody and authorities were called.
Later in the evening, Spears was transported to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where she is currently being held under Section 5150, an involuntary psychiatric hold. The hospital can keep her there against her will for up to 72 hours.
